US-based Ghanaian Emmanuel Acquah disclosed that he would not accept a GHS50,000 monthly job offer in Ghana that provides a car and a house.
In response to whether he would return to Ghana for a GHS20,000 job on SVTV AFRICA with DJ Nyaami, Emmanuel indicated that no job offer from Ghana would be enticing enough to accept after what he has experienced in America in six months.
He said,” GHS20,000? That’s even small. Even if I were offered GHS50,000 per month, along with a house and car, I would still turn it down. I’ll only visit Ghana but not stay.
I promote Ghana and Africa quite frequently on my TikTok videos. Most of my friends want to visit too. Ghana is pretty cool, but unfortunately, there’s not a lot of money going around. The majority are suffering. I’m happy here. The opportunities here are endless.
Emmanuel studies Education with a scholarship. He tried three times before his visa application was approved.
“Out of excitement, I put my motorbike on sale for GHS2000 right at the embassy. From there, I went to the airline office to book a flight.”
