Lebanese born in Ghana, Akua Obroni has stated that Ghanaians who complain about unavailable jobs and opportunities are liars.
Speaking on Daily Hustle on SVTV AFRICA, Akua indicated that despite the opportunities available in Ghana, the youths are unable to exploit them due to a lack of capital.
“Anyone who says there is no money or opportunities in Ghana is a liar. I’ve been to all 16 regions in Ghana, but Ghanaians don’t see the opportunities because they are often discouraged. Don’t take advice from even your close friends.
Ghanaians don’t give opportunities to their people. Many people give up to travel abroad because they don’t see the opportunities available. The capital is also a problem. Many can’t assess loans to start a business, and they’d rather pay GHS20,000 to travel,” she said.
Akua was born and raised in Ghana despite her Lebanese roots. According to Akua, she started selling at age 10 and has been hustling all her life. She works as a real estate agent and also distributes hair products.
