Germany-based Ghanaian Evangelist Bright Dartey has stated that conducting a DNA is foolish and unnecessary.
In an interview on SVTV AFRICA with DJ Nyaami, Evangelist Bright mentioned that men who opt for a DNA test to confirm the paternity of a child are not wise, especially if they are already married. He added that it is unnecessary because humans can adopt animals and treat them as family.
“Thank God when such things happen. It is unnecessary. No wise man will get a DNA test done. You’ve loved the child for years, and then you decide to confirm. It could lead to your death. How long will you be on this earth to cut it short with DNA?
If my woman cheats and names me the father of another man’s child, it means I’m more important than the other man. Some step-children could love you more than your children. I don’t support DNA,” he noted.
Moreover, Evangelist Dartey added that many Africans believe in spirituality that science cannot explain. He said, “Your family could ruin your marriage through DNA. That is my belief.”
