“I took some days off to see my mom because she wasn’t feeling well, and I thought seeing me would cause a change. It was a surprise. I came to Ghana mainly to see my mom. If it weren’t for that, I wouldn’t have come. It’s on further notice,” he said.

Achabu, through research, found an opportunity to work in Vietnam as a science teacher at an international school. According to Achabu, he made use of the internet and has since acquired skills that can be replicated globally.

“I got the chance to work here while in Ghana, and I’ve got offers to work in other countries like South Korea while in Vietnam. The opportunities are available. All you need to do is build yourself. The certificates we acquire in school are not enough.”

Moreover, Achabu mentioned that blacks or Ghanaians in Vietnam are unable to work in other fields due to the language. They usually work as English teachers.
