An unidentified half-dead man has been lying down at the Airport residential area since Friday.

In a report by SVTV Africa, two police officers were at the scene waiting for a police van to transport the man to the police hospital. Even though the officers refused the interview, they stated that several calls had been made to the national ambulance service but no response.

According to a witness, the young man has been around the Jack and Jill area for days.

“I saw him on Thursday sitting in the gutter and some men carried him out. Later my husband asked to buy him food and after eating, we didn’t see him so we thought he left.

The next day, I saw again. People reported to the police but they didn’t come until today. He’s been sleeping here since Friday and it rained on Saturday and Sunday,” the witness said.

The witness added that he could not speak or walk when they found him. In the early hours of June 28, the police were at the scene waiting to transport him to a hospital.
