Dela Mond Atitianti, a returning guest on SVTV Africa’s Daily Hustle Worldwide, shared an inspiring update with DJ Nyaami, revealing that she has relocated her jewelry shop to MFS Estate, where business is thriving despite Ghana’s fluctuating economy.

Dela touched on price fluctuations caused by the dollar’s instability, explaining that customers sometimes hesitate to buy because they believe prices should drop now that the dollar has. But she encouraged business owners to stay focused and adapt.

“Jobs are in Ghana,” she emphasized. “If you’re a woman and you learn a trade like shoemaking or cane work, you’ll succeed. You can even rebrand and sell charcoal and make money monthly.”

She also addressed a tough reality in entrepreneurship: betrayal. Many people she trusted to sell her jewelry took the products and vanished with the money. “But I didn’t quit,” she said. “If you don’t have sense, you can’t do business—it’s not just about capital. You can’t tell me you’re broke and still using the latest iPhone.”

Dela advises Ghanaians abroad to invest smartly back home. “Don’t just send money to caretakers—buy land, wall it, and grow coconut. You’ll make good money. And if you try to destroy someone’s business, yours will be destroyed too.”

She encouraged unity and support for returnees: “Let’s help those abroad start businesses here. Many want to return but are scared because of stories they’ve heard. Not everyone abroad is living well—some are going through silent hell.”

Her final message: “You can’t stay abroad forever. Let’s stop the envy, stop counting someone’s container or shop, and focus on building something meaningful.”
