UK-based Ghanaian Helen Branson has revealed that six out of ten husbands in France pushed their wives into prostitution to support their families.
In an interview on Daily Hustle Worldwide on SVTV AFRICA, Madam Helen lived in France before migrating to the UK and revealed that it is tough for foreign nationals to make money in France compared to the UK.
According to her, many Africans including, Ghanaian husbands, personally escort their wives to work and cater to them afterwards.
“If you want to live life and establish something back home, it is not France. You can be there for 20 years, and you won’t be able to do anything. They have a good social system, but you can ask how long it took Ghanaians there to build projects back home.
Those who have made it also push their wives into prostitution. Six out of ten successful couples in France push their wives into ‘ashawo.’ It is common in France and Germany, and they still do it,” Helen claimed.
Moreover, she added they make a lot of money from it and “two nights’ payment can be more than someone’s two-month salary in France.”
Madam Helen mentioned that she left France for the UK because of their systems and language.
