CEO of Carline Auto Parts, Kwaku Fosu Asare, has sent out a word of caution to ladies to never settle for a poor man and must shun guys who cannot properly take care of themselves.
Speaking on SVTV AFRICA with DJ Nyaami, Kwaku Fosu indicated that pastors are to blame for the high divorce rates. He mentioned that financial independence is the most significant thing in a marriage. However, pastors encourage couples to marry.
“The items they may need for the wedding may not even be enough, but the pastor says it’s fine. No, that’s not right. Money is the most important thing in marriage. You must have a planned life, and that encouragement they get from church brings that problem (divorce). Will your sick wife get better with understanding? It is money. ”
According to Kwaku Fosu, marriage is not as ’sweet’ as many believe and is “definitely worse without money. 80% of divorces are due to financial issues. Why don’t you prepare adequately before marriage?”
The Businessman advised ladies to stay far away from poor men who propose marriage to them. In the same vein, Mr Asare likened poor women to satan. “It’s just like how God threw Lucifer from heaven. It’s the same with broke women. To the women, slap any broke man who proposes to you.”
