George, a Ghanaian entrepreneur who was formerly based in London, has returned to Ghana to establish his own business—and he is doing remarkably well.

In an interview on SVTV Africa’s Daily Hustle Worldwide Show with DJ Nyaami, George shared his journey and insights, explaining that every time he appears on the show, he gains more clients. According to him, there are more business opportunities in Ghana than many people realize, and contrary to popular belief, there is real money in Ghana if one knows where to look.

George challenged the mindset that success is only found abroad. He emphasized that Africa, and Ghana in particular, was once very wealthy, but much of that history was overshadowed when colonial powers arrived with religion and foreign systems that changed the way Africans viewed their own resources and capabilities.

He noted that entrepreneurship cannot be properly taught by people who have never been on the ground. According to him, real business knowledge should come from people in places like Makola Market, small traders, and everyday hustlers, not just from classrooms or theory. These are the people who truly understand money, trade, and survival.

Reflecting on history, George mentioned the painful era of slavery and how Africans were taken abroad. He argued that if roles were reversed, history would never forgive Africans. He also pointed out the many loopholes in the current educational system, where farming is often presented as punishment rather than a profitable business opportunity.

George criticized the obsession with traveling abroad, explaining that many people suffer overseas doing menial jobs, while the same work or business in Ghana could earn them respect and better income. According to him, only a few people truly succeed abroad, while many struggle silently.

George is the founder of Gino Prints & Publication Limited, a company that operates even on Sundays. His story is a strong reminder that success is possible at home, and with the right mindset, Ghana remains a land of opportunity.
