Kwame, a Ghanaian man based in the UK, recently shared a troubling experience on SVTV Africa’s Daily Hustle Worldwide show with DJ Nyaami. According to Kwame, he met a white woman through Facebook’s dating app in March 2025. The woman initiated the conversation, asking if he was open to living with a woman and potentially having a relationship. Their chats became frequent, and they exchanged WhatsApp numbers.
Shortly after, the woman sent Kwame explicit photos and videos without him asking. She then requested the same from him, but he declined. Eventually, she visited him at his place after using Google Maps to find the location. It was cold when she arrived, and although they ended up in bed together, Kwame explained that he was not sexually attracted to her. He said he struggled to perform, even though she tried to arouse him, and he ended up only engaging in oral sex with her.
Despite this awkward encounter, Kwame claimed she wanted a serious relationship, possibly marriage. However, he made it clear he was only interested in black women and had no intentions of settling with her.
The situation took a dramatic turn when police unexpectedly showed up at his house. According to Kwame, they broke in, arrested him with cameras rolling, handcuffed him, and took him to the station. There, he was subjected to drug and alcohol tests and questioned about his immigration status and government benefits.
He was shocked to learn that the woman, Sarah, had accused him of kidnapping and raping her at knifepoint, claiming they had never met. Kwame denied all allegations and requested a lawyer. He presented their WhatsApp chats and the explicit content she had sent as evidence. He also mentioned that CCTV footage showed her arriving at his house of her own accord.
After a thorough investigation, including 50 recorded questions and legal scrutiny, authorities determined there was no case. The police cleared him of all charges and advised him to stay away from the woman while they continued their investigations. Two months later, Kwame received an official email stating the case had been dropped due to lack of evidence.
Kwame now plans to sue the woman for false accusations, stating he has enough evidence to prove his innocence. He expressed deep concern over how easily things could have gone wrong if he didn’t have proof of their communication.
He ended by saying, “We go through a lot in this country as immigrants. I’ve told my family and even contacted the Ghana Embassy. I’ve learned a big lesson: always study people well before getting involved.” Kwame, who has a girlfriend, admitted he was just trying to “cheat small,” but the experience taught him a harsh lesson about trust and caution.
