Charlotte was searching for her long-lost friend from Osino Secondary School, and through SVTV Africa Connect, she finally reunited with Cecilia Fiavi Dzetepe.
According to Cecilia, they were close friends back in Akyem Hemang but lost contact after Charlotte left.
“I always had her in mind and prayed to God to see her again, but I didn’t know how,” Cecilia said. She was overjoyed when they finally connected again.
Cecilia shared her tough background, losing both parents and living with her aunt. Charlotte often helped her at school, especially when she couldn’t afford food. Later, Cecilia moved to the Volta Region, did small jobs, worked as a house help, and now works at a hotel in Ada.
Charlotte described their reunion as joyful. She recalled how emotional it was when Cecilia started mentioning the names of their old classmates after they first texted and spoke on the phone.
Charlotte noted that sometimes people who aren’t your blood relatives become family through love and support. Both women thanked the SVTV team for reuniting them. Charlotte added that even her husband was happy that she found her dear friend Cecilia again.
