Priscilla Tibia Gyansa’s story is one of perseverance, vision, and transformation. From selling cereal in Class 3 to building a multinational haircare brand, her journey reflects a blend of determination and entrepreneurial spirit.

Priscilla’s career trajectory was anything but typical. As a young girl, she was already dabbling in business, hustling to make money at school by selling cereal to her classmates. Little did she know, those early ventures were just the beginning of a far larger entrepreneurial adventure.

Her passion for helping others led her to nursing, but her true calling evolved over time. Priscilla’s transition from caregiving to cosmetics wasn’t just a career shift—it was a pivot sparked by the global pandemic. As COVID-19 forced her to rethink her future in Takoradi, she took a bold step toward the haircare industry, blending her scientific background with her natural entrepreneurial drive.

The birth of Reface Nature Products was personal. After struggling with postpartum hair loss, Priscilla began creating her own haircare solutions. What started as a way to regain her own confidence became a business centered around helping others—particularly women dealing with hair loss, braiding damage, and even cancer-related hair issues. Her products are carefully crafted, infused with over 200 herbs, offering effective, natural solutions tailored to the unique needs of each customer.

Driven by a deep desire to ground her business in science, Priscilla enrolled in cosmetic chemistry, merging traditional remedies with modern scientific research to back her brand. The results were transformative, and customer reviews soon began to reflect the growing success of Reface Nature Products.

The company’s success didn’t happen overnight. It started in two small garages, with just 45 products. But through relentless hustle, dedication, and a clear understanding of the market’s needs, Priscilla’s brand gained recognition beyond Ghana. Today, Reface Nature is Afro-owned and made in Ghana, yet packaged and distributed in the U.S., reaching an ever-growing audience.

Priscilla’s entrepreneurial spirit can be traced back to her childhood, where she learned business principles from her father’s factory. These lessons laid the foundation for her own brand, now a recognized name in the international market. Despite facing doubts from others during her nursing school days, she stuck to her vision of creating a successful business, one that would prove naysayers wrong.

Now with over 200 customer testimonials, Priscilla’s products continue to support those struggling with hair loss, braiding damage, and more. One of her standout creations, a hair serum born from a dream, is even helping cancer patients restore their hair and confidence.

As the brand continues to expand, Priscilla is focused on taking Reface Nature to the next level. The company is currently in the process of securing Cosmos certification, planning U.S. distribution, and preparing for global expansion.

From a vision in a garage with just 20 bins to now operating two production garages and a shipping unit, Priscilla has built Reface Nature into a brand that’s not just about haircare—it’s about empowerment. Her message is clear: “Skill is wealth, and no one can take away what you’ve learned.”

Priscilla’s journey is a testament to the power of passion, hard work, and embracing change. She may have been mocked for choosing haircare over nursing, but today, she runs a successful business that’s making a global impact. Through it all, she has learned that skill-based businesses are the future, and with the right mindset, anything is possible.

Reface Nature’s next chapter is already underway, and with the brand’s growing recognition, Priscilla’s story continues to inspire others to turn their passions into purpose, no matter the obstacles.
