Nadia, a Ghanaian based in the US disclosed that she recorded and circulated an audio revealing that her father was her baby’s father but it was a plot to get her father’s attention.
In an interview with DJ Nyaami on Daily Huate Worldwide, Nadia indicated that she found herself grappling with an unexpected pregnancy during a challenging time in her life. After relocating to the United States to live with her mother, she decided to drop out of school, feeling the weight of her circumstances.
Concerned about her mother’s new marriage and the potential strain her situation could cause, Nadia left her home and forged her own path. After a year of a relationship, Nadia’s hopes for a supportive partnership were crashed when her baby’s father refused to accept any responsibility for their child.
Feeling abandoned and financially strained, Nadia resorted to drastic measures to capture the attention of her father, who had ceased providing any assistance upon her return to Ghana.
In a bid to regain his support, she took to social media, circulating audio clips that falsely claimed her father, who was a state minister, was the father of her baby. This lie was fueled by desperation for financial help and a feeling of betrayal after he had distanced himself from her life.
