Killian Agyemang, a Ghanaian based in the UK shared how a fellow Ghanaian had him arrested and deported during his interview for a stay permit in the UK.

In an SVTV AFRICA interview with DJ Nyaami, Killian mentioned he assisted a man in getting a job at his workplace. Unfortunately, the man reported Killian to the police while Killian was in the middle of an interview for a permit.

As a result of this false report, Killian was unjustly detained for three months and eventually deported to Ghana to begin his permit process again.

“I was a supervisor at my workplace and he was jealous of my position. He told my boss that I didn’t have a permit to work and reported me to immigration. Unfortunately, I had discussed my marriage plans and the interview with him.

The officers arrested me in the middle of the interview. I was detained for three months and sent back to Ghana to start the process again if our marriage was genuine,” he said on Daily Hustle Worldwide.

Mr Agyemang added that the process took two years. He stayed and worked in Ghana while working on the process with his wife.
