Ghanaian Author and Entrepreneur Kwabena Obeng Darko has urged Ghanaians to elect a leader who thinks like an African and not a White otherwise he will never effect change in the country.

Obeng Darko in a chat with DJ Nyaami on SVTV Africa, shared the importance of learning the African and Ghanaian history beyond slavery and colonisation. He added that “everything is designed to make the Africans feel inferior.”

“There is no great African fighting for the development of Africa who does not have his consciousness restored. Any African who truly wants the development of his country has a different mindset.

If you want a leader look carefully for the one with the mindset of an African. He will not effect any change if he thinks like a white man. That leader will never challenge the Whites and will follow everything they say.”

Obeng Darko reiterated the need to learn about the African history. He believes it is the only way Africans would have a change in mindset and be free from neo-colonialism.

“The foundation for an African must be their history, otherwise, our future is in jeopardy. Many of us do not know the evil White people have done to us. The Western world came here to learn technology but turned around to tell us Africans have never given anything to the human race,” he added.
