Nana Kusi, a Ghanaian based in the US disclosed that he makes six figures from the comfort of his home and his job is tax-exempted.
In a chat on Daily Hustle Worldwide, Mr Kusi indicated that he has been working for himself for over a decade. He quit his five-hour shift job and collaborated with his wife to establish a business with their skill set.
“My wife is in healthcare and it allowed us to own our business. We work with agencies that take care of adults with developmental challenges. We have youths or adults with developmental challenges living with us and the government pays us for that.
We drive them to wherever they need to go. For the past 15 years, it’s been a six-figure income every year and I don’t pay taxes because the government wanted to encourage people to come into this sector,” he shared on SVTV AFRICA.
Aside from his business, Mr Kusi indicated that they moved into real estate soon after they built their house in the US. He said,” At the time, the government gave us $8000 in cash for building a house. We rented out this house and built another. My building is worth over $500,000 now.”
Speaking on the opportunities available in the US, Nana Kusi stated that it is the best country for immigrants. Moreover, anyone with an entrepreneurial mindset can make it there.
