Nana Boakye Ansah, a Kumawood actor based in the UK has finally spoken after a photo of him wearing a security guard uniform went viral on social media.
Otumfour Nana, as he is popularly known spoke in an interview with DJ Nyaami and confirmed that it is him. However, it is an old photo taken five years ago. According to Nana Ansah, he worked as a security guard for a Psychiatric Hospital in the UK.
“I was doing that job but I didn’t have the required documents to work. The uniform you see is a police uniform because my job was dangerous. I didn’t have documents but I made arrests.
That job opened many doors for me and I’m grateful because it reminds me of where I came from. I still work as a security but I do mobile security now. What Ghanaians are saying does not bother me because it is by Grace.
Speaking on rumour that he quit acting, Otumfour Nana dispelled such rumours and revealed that he planned to return to Ghana after working abroad for ten years.
