United Arab Emirates-based Ghanaian lady Adepa (alias) revealed that she was blinded by the idea of travelling abroad and accepted an offer to work as a prostitute in Dubai.
In a chat on Daily Hustle Worldwide, Adepa indicated that she sleeps with six men per night to pay off her debt charged by her travel agent. Adepa met a lady on TikTok who claimed to be a sex worker and introduced her to it.
Adepa was eventually convinced to travel to the UAE to work as a sex worker in Dubai with the help of a travel agent.
“I knew I was coming to do sex work, but I was blinded by the idea of going to Dubai. So I accepted the offer and came. I would not be paid, but I’d have to settle the debt for my freedom.
The lady told me she was into sex work and was planning to go to Dubai. She introduced me to my boss (agent), who paid for the travel expenses and brought me to Dubai. My boss took my passport immediately after I arrived,” she said on SVTV Africa.
According to Adepa, her agent instructed her to pay GHS630 a day for six months to settle the cost of bringing her to the UAE. Moreover, Adepa disclosed that her boss had sex with her before giving her money for her basic needs.
