Georgina Otoo, a Ghanaian living in the UK, revealed that she was engaged to her ex, but she returned the ring after she met her Scottish husband.
In a chat on SVTV Africa, Georgina disclosed that her Scottish husband proposed marriage three days after they met and got married less than a week later.
According to Georgina, choosing between the two men was an easy decision because she held a grudge against her ex-boyfriend.
“The whole experience felt like a dream because we got married within a week. Honestly, I didn’t know which one I was in love with. He (ex-boyfriend) left me for France, and we lost our child during that period.
I had met someone who was dying for me for the good things I did for him. I won’t leave the one who thought I was good to choose you, who left me behind when I was hungry. I didn’t even care what he was doing.”
Madam Too added that she returned her ex-fiancé’s ring while preparing to move to the UK. She added that he tried to convince her to stay, but “I met him two days before my departure and returned his ring.”
