Catherine Abbey, a Ghanaian lady, revealed that her father-in-law advised her husband to marry another woman when he settled in the UK because they had been childless for five years.

In a chat on Daily Hustle Worldwide, Catherine mentioned that her once-loving father-in-law has turned cold because she has not delivered a baby and threatened to disown his own if he travelled to the UK with Catherine.

“My husband never betrayed me despite that advice. He told them that he would make it if he married another woman after those years together. My in-law knew we were coming to the UK on the same day, but he vehemently refused it.

He threatened to disown him if we came together and even changed his flight ticket without my husband’s knowledge. He knew my husband would inform me about the new date, so two days before his departure, a woman from the airline office told me about it. It costs me GHS6800 to make the change,” she said.

Mrs Abbey disclosed that she met her husband at the airport and travelled with her husband without his family’s knowledge. According to her, it has since become a family issue still waiting to be resolved.

“On the day of our departure, thankfully, family members were not allowed to enter the airport. I saw them in whites, meaning they’d succeeded, but they didn’t know I was inside waiting for my husband. Their attitude has since changed towards my husband, and he’s the quiet type,” she added.
