UK-based Ghanaian Felix Adu Boahen disclosed that he became homeless after he was thrown out and slept in his classroom for over a month.
In a chat on Daily Hustle Worldwide, Felix shared with DJ Nyaami some of his toughest moments in life. Mr Adu Boahen mentioned that he was still a nursing student in Accra but got hitched according to his plans.
“I had planned to get married at that age but I was still in school. I lived with a friend in Accra for school, but he threw me out two weeks after our wedding. I stayed in the classroom for a month and two weeks. I got sad on weekends when the students left for the weekend.
I had some friends who would join me in the class to study and leave on the weekend. I had one outfit, and I took off my ring because I didn’t want people to see a married man like that. That motivated me to travel abroad,” he said on SVTV AFRICA.
Host of Daily Hustle Worldwide, DJ Nyaami, quizzed Felix on his decision to get married at that point in life. The UK-based Ghanaian said, “My plan was to get married at that age, so I made preparations towards it, but the house part failed.”
