Germany-based Ghanaian Herty Badu revealed that her ex-boyfriend married another woman while she was heavily pregnant in Germany.
Speaking on SVTV AFRICA with DJ Nyaami, Miss Badu indicated that she heard the news from a friend in Ghana while in an asylum house in Germany. She disclosed that her ex-boyfriend’s family disapproved of their marriage, but he insisted and promised to stay with her.
“After that call, I called my ex to confront him. His mother disapproved of our marriage because of my tribe, and I asked for a break-up, but he told me it was his choice, not his mothers’. I was looking forward to us getting married before I travelled.
I questioned him about what I heard, but he denied it. I cried the whole night, and I’ll never forget the pain I went through because my delivery day changed. They had to induce labour,” she narrated.
Herty Badu further disclosed how she was treated at the Asylum house after delivery. She almost lost her child to the German social services.
“The nurses gave me malt to drink, but the security woman thought it was alcohol. She reported it as alcohol to the social services team. I had to confront the nurses, and they reprimanded her for lying. I cursed her for it because she also wanted a child. I saw her today, and she’s still childless,” Herty added.
