UK-based Ghanaian Ben Asamoah Darlington stated he would never advise a Ghanaian youth to travel abroad for greener pastures.

In a chat with DJ Nyaami on SVTV AFRICA, Mr Darlington mentioned that Ghana holds better opportunities for the youth than Europe or the UK. However, he would not discourage them from travelling to experience life abroad.

“There are opportunities here in the UK, but trust me, there are many more opportunities in Ghana. Farming is a huge business, but we don’t regard it. Many Ghanaian nurses and care workers depend on others now. They are stranded now, but they had good jobs and businesses in Ghana.

Everyone advises the youth to travel abroad when they get the chance. Don’t get me wrong, the UK is good, but everyone can’t come. Advise them to return to Ghana and establish a business,” he said.

Moreover, Mr Darlington spoke about the UK health system and disclosed that it is crashing. Ben revealed he was a victim and “almost lost my life if I had not returned to Ghana. I relied on our traditional medicine, and that saved me.”
