Italy-based Ghanaian Isaac Kwame Oppong narrated how he found out his ex-wife was cheating on him even before their marriage.
Isaac mentioned that he had a child with a woman he planned to marry before travelling she later disappointed him. Speaking on SVTV Africa with DJ Nyaami, Isaac indicated that his ex-wife took a loan for him to travel and had plans of marrying her upon his return.
“I sent her money monthly and even exported some goods for her to sell. She was very good to me, but she was a disappointment. She kept pressuring me to marry her, so we got married while I was in Italy. Later, a friend told me she was eight months pregnant,” he disclosed.
According to Isaac, his family members lived in Kumasi while she lived in Accra. Isaac believes he would have never found out if not for his friend.
Isaac left Ghana for Italy through Libya and returned four years later. He recounted how he went through tough times before arriving in Italy and getting his documents to become a citizen.
“I have suffered. After I was granted a permit, I did any job that came my way, from plucking tomatoes to washing cars. There is no menial job I haven’t done before in Italy. I went to school to learn how to operate a forklift, and that is what I now do.”
