Germany-based Ghanaian Gifty Adu-Boahen has revealed that her ex-husband was a fake prophet who he bewitched her into marrying him at age 17.
In a chat on SVTV AFRICA with DJ Nyaami, Gifty indicated that she rejected his marriage proposal, but her ex-husband convinced her she had to marry a pastor. She believes that the prophet married her for a purpose.
“I said no (to his proposal). I didn’t even consider it. He’s the type that would take you to the beach to pray for you, and before you realise, you’re doing what he wants. He married me for a purpose, but he couldn’t get that. So we had misunderstandings often,” Gifty disclosed.
Speaking about the ‘purpose,’ Madam Gifty revealed that he was a “fake prophet who had a deal with marine spirits. He was supposed to sacrifice his firstborn for powers. When I got pregnant, I woke up to blood and syringe marks on my body. Dreams of someone telling me to push the baby out, but he couldn’t get the child.”
According to Madam Gifty, he tried several times but failed. Out of frustration, her ex-husband denied the pregnancy and eventually divorced her. She mentioned that they were married for only a year and gave birth as a single parent.
