UK-based Ghanaian Helen has alleged that some Ghanaian women living in the UK used their marriage as a front to hide their sexual exploits.
Speaking on SVTV AFRICA with DJ Nyaami, Helen claimed that many married women in London specifically with female best friends are actually together.
“It has become normal in London. You’ll find a woman married to a man but dating a female on the side. They pretend to be best friends, but they will be having sex on the side. So the African guys in London prefer women outside of London,” she alleged.
According to Helen, it is because the husbands of these women cheat on them. As a result, they find other partners too. Ghana and many African countries have not accepted or legalised LGBTQ. Many African people believe it is taboo and must not be tolerated even among Africans living abroad.
Moreover, Madam Helen who lived in France before migrating to the UK also revealed that it is tough for foreign nationals to make money in France as compared to the UK.
She indicated that many Africans including, Ghanaian husbands personally escort their wives to work and cater to them afterwards.
