Street hawker Jessica Kpodo has disclosed that her mother often wishes for her death and said she’d wear a white dress and celebrate her demise.
In an interview on Daily Hustle with DJ Nyaami, Jessica mentioned that she does not regard her as a mother because she does not treat her as a daughter. Speaking on SVTV Africa, Jessica added that her mom told her she’d be glad if she perished.
“I’ve decided not to her my mom anymore after an incident. My sister insulted and I retaliated. Then my aunt slapped me, but I spoke up and told her never to touch me again. She had the boys in the area beat me up while I was sick.
When my mother arrived, she didn’t ask anything but told me she’d wear a white dress and celebrate with drinks. She won’t be bothered. So I’ll say I don’t have a mother if someone asks about her,” Jessica recounted.
Moreover, Jessica stated that she has closed off her mind on her mother and only focuses on her father because he took care of them after their mother left. According to Jessica, she has no love for her mother.
The 18-year-old dropped out of school while in SHS 2, but she plans to go back to school. Jessica indicated that she wants to become a lawyer in the future.
