Single mother of two, Joycelyn has disclosed that all she got from prostitution are two kids she had not prepared for.
Speaking on Ghetto Life Story, Joycelyn mentioned that her first baby daddy is in prison for a five-year jail term. The second, a Nigerian, also fled before she gave birth.
“He (Nigerian) gave me GHS2000 when I was five months pregnant to buy what I’d need for the baby. A month later, I couldn’t find him anywhere. So I had to go back home to give birth.
My mom was angry because I didn’t bring my first child’s father home and no father for the second too. She told me to stay with the father,” she said on SVTV Africa.
According to the 22-year-old, she started prostitution as a teenager, and all she got are “two kids. It didn’t help me in any way. I regret doing it because it won’t help me.
Many are also dying from it. I’ve witnessed three prostitutes dead at a hotel. I won’t go back to it again. I want to start a business to support my children.”
Joycelyn advised her age mates to be patient and heed their parents’ advice.
