US based Ghanaian, Adwoa Manfo has revealed that many Ghanaian wives abroad especially America are selfish, and do not respect their husbands because they make more money than their husbands.

Speaking on SVTV Africa with DJ Nyaami, Miss Manfo mentioned that many women who work as caregivers make 250 dollars per day. As a result, some ladies disrespect their partners.

“About 70% of divorce is mainly money and family issues. What I have realized is that women make more than men abroad especially care givers like myself. It makes it easier for the wife to disrespect her husband.

We don’t respect the men because we make a lot of money. Also, everyone wants to make money and so they are always thinking about paying bills, etc. There is no love,” she said on Daily Hustle Worldwide.

Adwoa Manfo also indicated that the US system supports and protects women and children more than the men. She believes this has also caused the disrespect towards men.

In a previous interview, Miss Manfo revealed that she stayed in a loveless marriage for fifteen years for her kids. However, it eventually ended.

Moreover, she mentioned some of her biggest regrets in life.

“I was very naive back then. I became friends with anyone who laughed with me. That was my mistake. They used me for their own benefit but it won’t happen anymore.”
