Patrick Sosu, a roasted corn/plantain seller based at the spanner bus stop here in Accra has added to the goodwill of Kwame Despite.
According to Patrick, he used sell sachets water in traffic, dressed sharply in a white shirt and a tie made with Ghanaian flag colors.
In a conversation with DJ Nyaami, he stated that people used to gift him money, and the CEO of Despite Group is one of them.
“Some years back, Despite saw me in traffic and gave me $100. Someone also gave me 20gh because of my costume,” he said.
“Ghanaman,” as his customers call him, also advised hawkers to dress well and look their best because, most buyers check that before buying from them.
