Rapper, Sarkodie has denied claims he’s the King of Azonto in Ghana
After Sarkodie proposed that Azonto be brought back, there have been attacks from colleague artistes who are claiming to be kings of the infamous dance.
According to him, he is known for rap and that even when Azonto music was in vogue he did just three songs and moved back to his rap music.
The musician also denied assertions that he is the mastermind of the hashtag that generated the Bring Back Azonto talks on Twitter.
He mentioned that artistes who are releasing songs should continue to do so in order to bring back the love for Azonto music.
Speaking on his relationship with Shatta Wale, he said he no more sees Shatta Wale as his friend because he’s not sure Shatta Wale is his friend now.
“I don’t know but the relationship between I and Shatta Wale is not the same. Previously, I used to roll with him, I go to his shows, he comes for my show but now things are not the same.”
