Germany-based Ghanaian Kamal Abu has disclosed that his ex-German wife took him to court after their divorce to get his residency permit revoked.

In an interview on Daily Hustle Worldwide, Kamal indicated that due to the many divorces among interracial marriages, most Whites have gathered that some Blacks only propose to them for permits. As a result, the Whites charge them when the Black partners later ask for a divorce.

“It is usually among the women. When the Black man marries a White woman and eventually divorces her, she will get the permit revoked. It has happened to many guys here, including me.

Kamal confessed that he indeed went into the relationship with that intention and failed to live his life as a married man living in Germany.

“She thought that I would find a job and start my life with her, but I was looking at building something back in Ghana. We began having problems in our marriage because she was not getting what she anticipated. We divorced eventually.”

In Germany, any foreign national who obtains a permit through marriage must visit the immigration office with their spouse for renewal. However, in Kamal’s case, he had separated from his wife and could not renew his permit.

“I tried getting back together with her again. Through that, we have a baby.”
