Ghanaian lady who just returned from Dubai, Mariam Iddrisu, has revealed that many Ghanaian women living in one of the major cities in UAE beg men to sleep with them for food.
Speaking on Daily Hustle Worldwide, Mariam revealed that an agent persuaded her to pay Ghs15k for a job which pays 2300 Dirhams (Ghs5000). Mariam thought it was an opportunity to make money and invest in her business.
According to her, many people sleep on the streets of Dubai and others have developed ulcers due to intense hunger. As a result, most women give their bodies to Arab men for 20 Dirhams (Ghs40).
“Ghanaian women have become cheap in Dubai. They beg the Arabs to have sex with them for 20 Dirhams for food. In Ghana, women flirt with men, but in Dubai, these women pray for men to ask them out. They have sex with them on bunk beds with their roommates present,” she disclosed.
Mariam mentioned that she planned to work in Dubai for six months, save up, and import Muslim wear to Ghana to sell. However, she ended up spending over GHs10k in Dubai for her living expenses, food etc., without making a penny.
“I spent Ghs1200 on rent and internet for three months. My family had to send me money monthly for these expenses, and I never worked a day.
There are many Ghanaians living there, especially women, and they pretend like they live good lives when their families call,” she told DJ Nyaami.
According to Mariam, the Ghanaian women refuse to come back to Ghana because they have heard of the economic complaints by Ghanaians. In all, she spent over Ghs25k on this adventure.
Mariam came to Ghana three months ago to advise the youth on travelling to Dubai for work.
