According to the one-time hipline artiste, he migrated from France to Italy for a better life. Naycha got a job soon after as a DJ in a club without a work permit.

“While working at a club, the police barged in and started checking documents. So this of us who didn’t have any were arrested. I was the only Ghanaian among seven Nigerians. The reason that came was that they heard that people sold drugs in the club.”

DJ Naycha added that he was in prison for two weeks and later related after court proceedings.

“After I came back, I got a job as a carpenter as a side hustle. One day I visited a lakeside and spoke to the bar owner for a show. So I gave someone money to pay for CIA (tax), but he didn’t.

During the packed show, there was a conflict, and when the police came, I got arrested because I didn’t have papers,” he told DJ Nyaami.
