Eric Humphrey Eduah is a physics teacher however music has always been a passion. Recently, a short video of a man singing numbers as the intro to a gospel song surfaced online, and many people have shared and passed funny comments.
In an exclusive on SVTV Africa, Sir Eduah revealed that the song ‘house of the Lord’ was recorded in 2011 and the video released on YouTube in 2014. The intro verse to the song is what many netizens are enjoying. But the action and the technical aspect of the video make it even funnier.
Speaking with DJ Nyaami, Sir Eduah said, “I realized that I had an interest in music, so I wanted to do something with it. As someone who can compose nice songs, why not.”
“Management was not in the plan because I’m a teacher, so I had to mobilize resources for it. I’m sure that is another reason for some of the shortcomings with the video. I footed everything myself,” he said.
Sir Eduah indicated that after ‘house of the Lord’ was released, he sold about 500 copies in his community alone. Even though he did not break even, it was worth it. Presently, Sir Eduah is re-producing the single.
