The driver, Leticia Awuah, in charge of a private Toyota Corolla Saloon with registration number GE 4883-18 onboard with her boyfriend, Awuah Maxwell, failed to observe road traffic regulations while driving from the Asiakwa ADB Bank branch area to join the Asiakwa to Kibi highway.

The suspect driver hastily joined the road and accidentally hit the rear door of a Toyota Corolla taxi cab with Registration Number GG 2973- 17 from SOS Village direction to Asiakwa market.
