Isaac, popularly known as Kasongo, appeared on SVTV Africa’s Daily Hustle GH and Business Link with DJ Nyaami, sharing his story of love, social media, and entrepreneurship.

Kasongo became widely known after his wedding on December 14, 2024. Photos from the ceremony went viral on TikTok, sparking jokes and comments about his looks. “People were calling me ugly, but I believe a wife is won by character, not appearance,” Isaac said. Initially resistant to social media, he discovered that the viral trend gave them unexpected opportunities, including advertisements and brand collaborations. Despite the initial backlash, Isaac encouraged his wife to continue with the wedding, and they now look back gratefully at the attention that helped them financially.

Isaac works in construction as a mason, building homes for clients both locally and abroad. He and his wife also run an import business, bringing home appliances and other products from China to Ghana. His wife praises him for being helpful and having good character, which she values above all else. She explains that their business started after doing advertisements for others, eventually deciding to sell products themselves because of the positive response.
