CEO of Sidom Doors, Silas, Expands Business Across Ghana
Silas, the CEO of Sidom Doors, is a Ghanaian entrepreneur based in Finland who has successfully established his door manufacturing company in Ghana with multiple branches nationwide. According to him, Sidom Doors currently operates nine branches across the country, with continuous upgrades in design and quality.
Silas explained that the company has opened new branches, reduced prices, and consistently updates its door frames and designs every year. He revealed that the next major goal for the company is to expand into Liberia.
Speaking about business ethics, Silas noted that a person’s inner attitude determines the kind of people they attract.
“If your heart is clean, you attract people with clean hearts. If your inner self is bad, it will reflect through the people you meet,” he said.
He also challenged the widespread perception that China produces inferior goods. According to him, quality products exist everywhere, but many sellers intentionally opt for the cheaper versions.
“In Turkey, everyone knows Sidom Doors. I always insist on quality, and they produce the best for me,” he added.
Silas emphasized that success in business comes from energy, hard work, and consistency—not just money.
“People think too much about capital when starting a business. You don’t always need huge capital; what you need is hard work, focus, and wisdom. Money has no language—its universal language is wisdom,” he advised.
He encouraged people to approach life like a strategic game, always thinking several steps ahead.
“In life and in business, you must be honest and allow others to play a fair game. If someone wants to harm you, it’s often because the game was manipulated. The universe blesses people based on the positive impact they create,” he stated.
Silas also cautioned that starting a business with large capital but no knowledge leads to failure.
“If you begin a business with no experience and start with $50,000, you will lose it. Business is not about making quick money—it requires patience and involvement. Money doesn’t work; humans work,” he stressed.
He concluded by saying that wealth comes from understanding money, growing with it, and aligning your energy with your goals.
“To be rich, you must grow your business and attach purpose to your prayers. Your prayers are about you, but they must also reflect how you help others. That is how the universe supports you,” Silas said.
