Ghanaian entrepreneur Nana Ama Nyaman Akuamoah, who is based in Palma, Italy, recently made a return appearance on SVTV Africa’s “Daily Hustle Worldwide” show with DJ Nyaami. Her previous interview sparked significant controversy, and this time, she shared deeper insights into her life, missing friend, business ventures, and personal experiences.

Nana Ama addressed concerns about her missing friend, clarifying that she hasn’t encountered any serious incidents in Italy. She also shared an experience where her child went missing but was later found and safely returned home.

She emphasized that working 7-8 hours a day allows her to manage her responsibilities effectively. While her children are in school in Ghana, she frequently travels between Ghana and Italy. She recounted how she brought her child to Ghana for a visit, but due to COVID-19, she stayed longer than expected. Eventually, she returned with her child to Italy for school.

Authorities even contacted her about her son when she once went to Denmark, as he was considered under their jurisdiction. They conducted video calls to check on him, demonstrating the level of oversight in Europe.

Nana Ama has built a successful African food business in Palma, Italy. She sells a variety of traditional dishes such as:

  • Banku and tilapia
  • Tuo Zaafi (TZ)
  • Kenkey with fried fish and pepper
  • Waakye
  • Shito
  • Fante Kenkey

Her business, Obaayaa Shop, is known for providing everything African. She receives overwhelmingly positive feedback, and customers regularly recommend her services. She even prepares soups and stews for clients, ensuring they get a taste of home.

Her business has expanded beyond Italy, as she now delivers African food across Europe. She actively promotes her business on TikTok and other social media platforms, using the tagline “Shine Your Eye.”

Nana Ama offered some words of wisdom, especially to Ghanaians living abroad. She advised people planning to travel to acquire a skill, as it makes it easier to find stable employment in Europe.

She also spoke about marriage and financial discipline, highlighting that many men rush into marriage for legal benefits, only to later abandon their partners. She cautioned against extravagant weddings, advising couples to focus on financial stability before planning a big ceremony.

Through hard work and determination, Nana Ama Nyaman Akuamoah has successfully balanced family, business, and life abroad. She continues to inspire others by proving that with the right mindset, anyone can succeed, no matter where they are.
