America-based Ghanaian Omisky is a returning guest on SVTV Africa’s Daily Hustle Worldwide show with Dj Nyaami.

Omisky is based in Tennessee. He shared insights on how Americans often work undercover or in underground jobs before arresting immigrants, particularly in cities like Texas, Atlanta, and New York, where there are many undocumented people.

He pointed out that Tennessee, which is predominantly white neighbourhood, doesn’t experience many raids from ICE.

Omisky believes that if people knew they were going to be deported, they would return to Ghana if conditions were better there.

He emphasized that America’s system is complex and teaches people to constantly adapt.

Without the right documents, survival is tough. He called for a shift in mentality, urging people to change when things aren’t working rather than staying stuck in the same situation for years.

He also commented on the high import duties in Ghana and how his mindset changed after coming to America. He noted that here, you can’t hide—authorities will find you.

Americans work relentlessly, and if you’re lazy, you won’t make it. Street hawkers who come to America can make it if they are willing to adapt, but those who carry old mentalities will struggle.

Omisky stressed the importance of planning, building a credit score, and being careful with spending.

He explained that you may wear the same clothes for years, but if you manage your money wisely, you can end up wealthier than some politicians in Ghana.

He also spoke about how in America, you have to keep working. If you don’t adapt and plan, you’ll be left behind.

He emphasized that Mexicans who enter the country illegally often live in cramped spaces, with many staying in a single room.

If one gets arrested, all are arrested. The system is designed to monitor and investigate, and sometimes they will even live in your house for a year to observe you.

On his personal journey, Omisky has moved from painting to tattoos, now doing permanent tattoos professionally.

To get certified, he had to attend school, gain experience, and complete the necessary steps.

He started doing tattoos in secondary school in Ghana, and now he sees opportunities to make good money by creating portraits for celebrities. If the celebrities share the work, it helps him gain recognition and income.

Lastly, Omisky noted that people should be grateful for money given to them in America, as it is not easily handed out.

He emphasized that hard work and adaptability are key to surviving and thriving.
