Aisha Germany Returns to Daily Hustle Worldwide

Aisha Germany, a returning  guest on Daily Hustle Worldwide, hosted by the CEO & founder of SVTV Africa, DJ Nyaami, shared insightful updates on Germany’s new immigration laws.

READ HERE:Only one in ten Ghanaians in Germany may have €10,000 saved, it is tough to get that money –

She revealed that these new laws, which cover both skilled and unskilled jobs, have already started taking effect. Aisha also highlighted the “Make it in Germany” initiative, which connects immigrants with resources and coaching to navigate the system successfully.

Key Updates:

  1. Opportunity Card for Long-Term Residents:
Individuals who have lived in Germany for over five years now have the chance to renew their residency and obtain permanent residence.
  2. Dual Citizenship:
Aisha Revealed that Germany has introduced dual citizenship, allowing individuals to retain their original passport while acquiring a German passport. Those who had to renounce their Ghanaian citizenship to gain German citizenship can now reapply for a Ghanaian passport through the Ghana Embassy.
  3. Skilled Labor Demand:
According to Aisha, Germany has a growing demand for healthcare workers. The voluntary nursing program, which has been extended globally, allows individuals to train as nurses. However, a fee of €400 is required to participate.
  4. Upcoming Immigration Challenges:
    • By 2025, immigration rules will become stricter. Those unable to secure new residence permits may face deportation.
    • Over 300 deportations are planned for this year, with reduced financial aid for those returning to Africa.
    • Migrants are encouraged to learn the German language and integrate into society, as failure to do so may lead to deportation.
  5. Opportunities to Cancel Deportation:
Individuals at risk of deportation can avoid it by securing skilled jobs and integrating into the system. Free language learning programs are available to assist with this process.
  6. 2024 Federal Elections:
Aisha Disclosed that Germany will vote for a new government in February, which may lead to further changes in immigration policies.

Key Advice:

Aisha emphasized the importance of being proactive, learning the language, and pursuing skilled opportunities. Germany remains focused on motivated immigrants who are willing to adapt and contribute to society.
