Afia Fabregas, former Kingdom FM presenter disclosed that she returned to Ghana after two weeks in Germany because of the sex offers she received in exchange for a legal status.

According to Afia, she travelled to Germany in search of greener pastures after she quit her radio job in 2021, however, she had to return to Ghana. “When I got to Germany, I realised they are lonely. They are like the ‘Walking Dead.’ I heard that the only way to get a legal status there is to give birth and most of the men I knew gave me that option.

They claim they wanted to help me but the help was sex; to impregnate me. I cried for those two weeks and decided to return to Ghana to start over to prove a point. The journey was tough. I couldn’t stay in a country I could only bathe three times a week.”

Before travelling abroad, Afia had started a business but left it behind for Germany. Afia regretted the decision and advised others to stay in Ghana if they have a good-paying job or stable business.
