Owusuaa, a Ghanaian based in Canada stated that men who proposed to her get intimidated by her success when they find out about her businesses and properties.

In a Daily Hustle Worldwide, Owusuaa revealed that she owns several businesses in Ghana and lives a rather comfortable life in her 10-bedroom house, but most men who see her success cannot continue the relationship. According to her, these men “are scared of an independent woman.”

“I have other properties, flats and houses I’m working on. While in Ghana, I met some men who were single and without kids but immediately after they visited my house, they backed off. They see my house; I take them round to see my businesses and then they don’t return. They fear an independent woman,” she told DJ Nyaami on SVTV Africa.

Speaking about why she travelled abroad and her experience living in Canada, Owusuaa indicated that she only left behind her businesses for her children’s education and future. She plans on returning to Ghana when her kids are older.

“It is more difficult when you travel without a plan. Getting a place to rent alone is a big issue now. Thankfully, my sibling was here, so it was easier. It’s also very tough to get a job here as a visitor. Canada has been good to me so far but I prefer Ghana,” she added.
