Freedom, a Ghanaian based in the US stated that he blocked his girlfriend after she asked for money and added that he will never play the role of a husband in a relationship.
In a chat on SVTV Africa with DJ Nyaami, Freedom indicated that he would never date a student because he does not believe in catering to his girlfriend’s needs. He added that a woman who loves her partner would not want his money.
“My girlfriend in Ghana told me that if I make her comfortable, she will not cheat on me. I blocked her immediately. I don’t entertain such women. I won’t date a student or a jobless woman. If I date you, I am not responsible for you unless it comes to my heart.
Love has nothing to do with money. Most women who approached would not have looked at me if I were still in Ghana. Most Ghanaian men abroad make that mistake. They think they will get any woman because they have money,” he said.
Freedom also mentioned that he has not been able to date in the US because he has less time for relationships. He says he hasn’t found love with a woman yet, but he’s hoping to find someone soon.
