Appiah Bingi, a Ghanaian living in the US shared his road journey from Brazil to the US through the Mexico border revealing that he never regretted that decision because he was mentally prepared for it.

In an interview on Daily Hustle Worldwide, Appiah indicated that he saw the trip as an excursion because it was a lot smoother than many other immigrants due to the adequate preparations he made.

According to Appiah, he rode a horse for two hours to cross a water body in Nicaragua and nine hours on a motorbike to get to Honduras.

“We spent over 15 hours on the road from Honduras to Guatemala. I didn’t have any regrets. I took it as an excursion and took some videos and photos on the way. I had psyched myself, so I wasn’t scared and had it easier than others.

When we got to Mexico, I had to get arrested to get a card to cross the Mexico border. I even went to the police station for them to arrest me but they refused. I had to ride the bus without a ticket to get myself arrested,” he recounted.

At the Mexico border, Appiah Bingi mentioned that he walked for four hours from Tijuana to the California border. Appiah mentioned old women carrying their kids on the same journey.
