“Anyone who advises you against travelling abroad is your devil. If you plan on staying in Ghana, you will continue slaving your life away. Even if you have a good job in Ghana, get a visa or documents in another country.

If I relocate to Ghana and visit Germany for two months, I could make more money driving a taxi than someone working in Ghana for a year. It is better abroad than in Ghana. I’d be lying if I told you working abroad is not beneficial.”

Mr Theo added that he would not have accomplished what he has if he stayed and worked in Ghana. Theo travelled abroad in 1983. He said there was no future for him in Ghana, so he decided to travel to Libya to hustle.
