Lyineth Acheampongmaah, a Ghanaian living in the US, stated that most Ghanaian wives abroad are losing their husbands to women based in Ghana and revealed that some give their husbands condoms on their visit to Ghana.
Speaking on SVTV Africa with DJ Nyaami, Lyineth, known on TikTok as Microphone Vice President, indicated that many marriages among Ghanaians in the US are in a loveless relationship due to their work schedules.
“Some men sleep on the couch for months. We have to slow down on the job and live life. If you can’t go to work, stay at home and rest. 99% of marriages abroad are loveless. That’s why men rush to Ghana in December for some comfort. But that is also causing the deaths of ‘borgas.’
Many wives have lost their husbands, and the funerals become a problem. You ask about his death, and it was in his side chick’s room. Women are pouring acid on their boyfriends in Ghana. So the wives give condoms to their husbands and tell them to be careful when they visit,” she said.
Moreover, the Microphone Vice President added that some Ghanaian couples in the US are unhappy and mentally unstable in their marriages.
