UK-based Ghanaian Jossy has stated that she broke up with her ex-boyfriend of four years because of how he spoke about his wife to her.
In a chat on Daily Hustle Worldwide, Jossy indicated that despite how good he was to her, she often spoke against how he insulted and spoke badly about his wife. According to Jossy, she expected him to have some respect for his wedded wife.
“I told him not to speak that way about his wife. I was studying his behaviour. He called his wife a fool because she made a mistake. That word he used kept bothering me because I didn’t expect him to use that word for his wife. He told me he would slap his wife, and I told him he would be arrested.
He was not doing that because he had me. I didn’t like how he spoke to me sometimes, but I spoke up against it. Even though he was good to me, he never once showed them any love. I felt like he only cared for me and not the kids,” she said on SVTV AFRICA.
Furthermore, Jossy revealed that her former boyfriend had expressed the desire to marry her at some point. However, she refused because she did not want to become a second wife.
“I had already planned to break up with him because he was someone’s husband. He can never be mine. I thought it was all fun. I didn’t know he was serious about the relationship. After I rejected his proposal, we agreed to date and break up when I found someone,” Jossy told DJ Nyaami.
