Victoria Eniola, a UK-based Nigerian, expressed how most men who propose love to her often demand money from her while others treat her like a slave.

Speaking with DJ Nyaami on Daily Hustle Worldwide, Victoria revealed that most African men in the UK expect women to give them money or pay bills and such.

“They propose to me, but they want me to give them money. I can’t do that. They want to sleep with us and give them money too. So far, all the ones I have met want money because they don’t like to spend their own money. I’m single because I have not met the right person yet,” she said.

Victoria mentioned that she would not date or file for a Nigerian native to join her in the UK because many divorce them after arriving in the UK. Moreover, some men treat their wives as slaves because they (men) sponsored their trip to the UK.

“The laws favor women here. That’s why the men start complaining when they integrate into the system. Some men treat their wives like men do in Africa because they are the reason they travel to the UK.

They act bossy and complain that the situation would be different if they were in Africa. That’s not fair. We are no slave, and we deserve respect too,” Victoria added.
