Janet Schubert, a Germany-based Ghanaian advised married women to engage in extramarital affairs if they are unhappy in their marriage.
In a chat on SVTV AFRICA with DJ Nyaami, Janet indicated that she would have gladly cheated on her German husband if she were in a loveless marriage because filing for a divorce is expensive.
Speaking about her marriage with a German, Janet indicated that her husband does not bother her with sex because it is not the focus of their relationship.
In response to whether she has extramarital affairs, Mrs Schubert said, “The Bible was not written in my house. I will (cheat) if I have to. I respect myself and will not give it up to just anybody, but what if I’m not happy?”
“Don’t go around with the ‘holy’ mentality. Divorce costs about 6000 euros with lawyers. If you find another man who is good for you, keep him. Only you know how hard you have it in your marriage. Do what makes you happy. Just be yourself.”
According to Janet, most Ghanaian couples abroad fail because some men neglect their responsibilities due to the support the government provides for mothers and children.
